Looney Farm

About Us

Our mission is simple: bring people together and have a good time doing it. When David, Janice and Pegleg are not wrangling projects or swapping sarcastic one-liners, you’ll probably find them brainstorming their next big idea—one that will have you laughing, smiling, and maybe just a little confused (in the best way). They believe that life is too short to be serious all the time—so if you come to visit, expect plenty of laughs, a few harmless shenanigans, and possibly a story or two you’ll want to tell your friends later. Around here, the welcome mat is always out, the coffee is always on, and the fun starts as soon as you arrive.

David is fueled by coffee, adventure, and an alarming willingness to try new things without reading the instructions. Thankfully, he is a trained pilot and didn't learn paramotoring from Youtube, everything else is just an educational video away. When David is not risking his life or Janice's on some ill-gotten adventure, he loves to sail around the Caribbean, fly his paramotor, make things on his 3D printer, and ride his One Wheel his faithful companion, Zena, running alongside.

Janice, the mastermind behind the lunacy, keeps the ship afloat with her multitude of crazy ideas, bottomless patience, and the ability to turn chaos into something beautiful. Her vision included raising farm animals and growing their own food, while offering a welcoming place where friends and family could feel at home and join in on the fun and games. Janice didn't want much; just a home with a clubhouse in it, go kart tracks and trails throughout the property, an RV parking area, a guesthouse, and a duck and fish pond. Janice loves to sail around the Caribbean, host visitors on land or sea, bake goodies, and make handcrafts such as crochet amigurumi.

Jason, aka "Pegleg," is the resident magic worker who follows David around and fixes everything that David breaks and builds everything that comes out of the brainstorming sessions. He is the mechanic, woodworker, chicken whisperer, and winter manager. Not to be outdone by David, there is nothing he cannot fix with duct tape and zipties. Pegleg loves going for long rides on his beloved Harley, flying above the hubbub on his paramotor, zipping around the farm on his over-powered electric scooter, and plotting the next more better thing.

Zena, the princess warrior princess (yes, more princess than warrior), is the boss of everybody. The others were just put on this earth to keep her happy and comfortable and to play with her. She may only weigh 5 pounds, but she has a 300 pound personality. She keeps everyone on their toes and definitely steals the show. It is her world and everyone else is just living in it.
